Vietnam Glory Obscured (often VGO) is a total conversion for Command & Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour lead by ScreamingCricket, which brings the Vietnam war into the SAGE engine. Different factions are the United States Of America (USA), North Vietnamese Army (NVA) and the Vietcong (VC); all complete with realistic units from the time period. Maps aim to recreate the feel of strategy within Vietnam, with emphasis on using the jungle to your advantage. Custom trees create realistic jungles that camouflage infantry for ambushes, only allowing infantry to pass through thick areas blocking ground based units unless your burn a path with Napalm or Agent Orange.

Vietnam Glory Obscured brings in several new resource systems and 28 new maps. Vietnam Glory Obscured also introduces new particle effects and AI along with naval units. Units are able to call for airsrikes, infantry explode upon death and the thick foliage will disguise enemy incursions.

Vietnam Glory Obscured also featured in the ModDB spotlight in June 2008. Several members of the Fallout Studios community have been or are currently involved with Vietnam Glory Obscured, including Nem who works as a beta tester. Both Boidy and The Hunter have provided particle effects at one point or another.
