An outline of Tournament Desert
Tournament Desert (abbreviated TD) is a map in the game Command and Conquer: Generals, and its expansion Zero Hour. Tournament Desert appears in many of the modifications based on Zero Hour.

It is a desert style symmetric 2-player map. It contains two supply docks for each player and a few supply piles in the middle. The middle also contains several garrisonable buildings and two civilian cars. Additionally, the map contains two oil derricks in the lower left and upper right corner.

It is the map which is most often used in competitive online playing because many strategies have been developed on this map. Its design and symmetric style allows many strategies to be used competitively. Although it is one of the best designed 1v1 maps, the cars in the middle give Global Liberation Army an advantage, as terrorists can be put inside the civilian cars, which allow the GLA to run over workers, hunt dozers, and/or kill supply trucks. Many people call it the most "balanced" map in the game.

Fallen Empire is a 4-player map that is chosen most often for 2v2 games and is said to be the most balanced 2v2 map.
