All manned combat vehicles
All manned USA combat vehicles can be upgraded with a single unmanned drone to boost that vehicle's capabilities. These drones are all affected by the Drone Armor upgrade.
Scout Drone
Scout Drones increase the effective sight range of the vehicle, and reveal any stealthed units nearby.
|
Battle Drone
Battle Drones protect the vehicle by repairing it when necessary. In addition, they have a light machine gun that can help defend the vehicle against infantry.
|
Hellfire Drone
Hellfire Drones provide additional battle capabilities for their parent vehicle. They are equipped with Hellfire missiles, which can do moderate damage to both infantry and vehicles.
|
Dozer
The Dozer is responsible for constructing all USA structures, as well as keeping them properly repaired.
Clear MinesOrders the unit to clear mines and booby traps within the assigned area. |
Crusader Tank
The Crusader Tank is the main battle tank of the USA ground forces. It's good against other tanks and buildings, but can easily be destroyed by Anti-Tank nuts as well as aircraft.
Crusader Hover Engine
Gives this Crusader a hover drive allowing it to travel over water and land at high speed. |
Humvee
The Humvee is a fast transport vehicle. It can transport five soldiers which can fire through the vehicle's fireports. However, by itself it's only armed with a machine gun, though can be upgraded with a TOW Missile launcher. It also has rather thin armor, but makes up for that with speed.
|
Ambulance
If your soldiers are wounded in battle, this vehicle will help them. It heals soldiers and repairs vehicles in the near vicinity and acts as a transport for 3 infantry.
Clean ToxinsOrders the Ambulance to clean up radiation and toxins in the selected area. |
Paladin Tank
This high-tech tank is the result of months of battle research. It meets all expectations of a tank, sporting a strong cannon which can easily destroy other tanks, and has a point defense laser at the back which shoots down missiles and has a secondary role as an anti-infantry system. It is still in the experimental phase, and requires a generals point to unlock.
|
Exo Suit
A result of the US Army's Future Soldier program, this power armored suit can be manned by any USA soldier. Its weapon systems will change depending on what kind of soldier is using the Exosuit:
The Exosuit comes empty and unarmed out of the War Factory. The driver can exit the Exosuit at any time, it will then still be able to move but has no weapons.
|
Sentry Drone
A drone fitted with highly modern sensor and camera equipment. It is able to detect stealthed units around it, and can scan for stealthed units in a small area further away too. It is stealthed itself when not moving. By default, it is not capable of engaging enemy units, but can be fitted with a machine gun which makes it effective against infantry. The Drone Armor upgrade makes this unit tougher to kill.
Scan area for enemiesOrders the unit to scan the target area for stealthed enemies. |
Avenger
Because the Humvee was not sufficient against faster aircraft the USA's enemies started to deploy in battle, the USA modified the Humvee to create the Avenger. It has a laser designator which can mark enemy units and increase the rate of fire for allied units firing on the "painted" target, and a point defense laser which protects an area around it against all types of missiles. An Stinger Missile System is mounted on its back, which fires batteries of four missiles each at airborne targets. This system slows down the Avenger a lot though.
|
Microwave Tank
As its name suggests, this tank is armed with a powerful microwave emitter. It creates a large microwave field around itself which fries infantry in seconds. Additionally it uses its dish to focus the emitter into projecting a microwave beam which shuts down targeted buildings and clears garrisoned buildings almost instantly. The downside is that the building only remains without power as long as the Microwave Tank keeps firing at it. The Microwave Tank loses it's microwave field when it concentrates it on an enemy structure, so this unit should never be sent out alone and only used as a support vehicle.
|
LOSAT Humvee
This modified Humvee sacrifices his transport capability and machine gun for a powerful missile battery. It fires long range kinetic energy missiles at high speed which are very effective against vehicles but do little damage to buildings and infantry.
|
Tomahawk Launcher
The Tomahawk is the staple artillery unit of the USA. It fires a Tomahawk missile over large distances, which does quite some damage to any target but has a small explosion radius. The missile also tracks and follows targets, and is capable of hitting even fast-moving units. However the vehicle is rather slow and weak, and its long reload time makes it unable to survive on its own, so be sure to protect it.
Ground AttackOrders the unit to fire its payload on the targeted area. Every artillery piece in ShockWave has this ability. Launch Waypoint guidance Tomahawk
Fires a waypoint guidance tomahawk that allows other nearby Tomahawks to relay their missiles to the same target. |
