Cobra

The Cobra functions as Kassad's main battle tank, though it is even more lightly armored than the Scorpion Tank. Instead of treads it has wheels, which gives it much better mobility than other tanks. It is effective at dealing with light vehicles and in numbers, highly effective at dealing with most ground targets. It can be upgraded with Scorpion Rockets for additional firepower, and can repair itself when damaged with the Junk Repair upgrade.

  • Strong Against: Light Vehicles
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Aircraft, Helicopters

Salvage Upgrades

  • Level 1: Stronger Tank Cannon.
  • Level 2: Second Scorpion Rocket.

Fire Scorpion Rockets

The Cobra fires its rocket at a target location.

Technical

The Technical is simply a pickup truck mounted with a machine gun, designed to transport infantry over long distances and engage enemy light infantry. Though very vulnerable, it is one of the fastest units and is quite cheap. When fitted with salvaged equipment, its standard (weak) machine gun is replaced with substantially more powerful weapons. Kassad's Technicals start as veterans and when not moving, they can cloak themselves with Camo Netting.

  • Strong Against: Infantry, Light Vehicles
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Tanks, Aircraft, Helicopters

Salvage Upgrades

  • Level 1: Auto Grenade Launcher instead of Machine Gun.
  • Level 2: Rocket Launcher instead of Grenade Launcher. Cannot fire on air-targets.

Camouflage

The Technical equips its camouflage netting to make it invisible to enemy troops. This ability can only be used when the Technical is not moving or attacking.

Sniper Quad Cannon

The Sniper Quad Cannon consists of a truck with a modified WWII flakvierling mounted on it. Efficient at killing infantry as well as air units, the Quad Cannon is a staple unit for the GLA. Kassad has improved the training of the Sniper Quad's gunner and the accuracy of the weapon itself. Its bullets now do more damage but at a lower fire rate. Its destructive power can be increased with the AP Bullets upgrade.

  • Strong Against: Infantry, Light Vehicles, Helicopters, Aircraft
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Tanks

Salvage Upgrades

  • Level 1: Stronger cannons.
  • Level 2: Even stronger cannons.

Toxin Tractor

An irrigation vehicle fitted with barrels of deadly toxins and a sprayer to dish them out to enemy troops, the Toxin Tractor is an example of GLA no-holds-barred warfare. The toxins from this vehicle kill infantry almost instantly (even when they are hiding in buildings) and can deal good damage to vehicles over time, as well. Though cheap, it is rather slow and not particularly well armored. It can use its irrigation hoses to contaminate the area around it, making the ground unsafe to move over (the tractor itself isn't affected). Its damage can be increased with Anthrax Beta and it will repair itself automatically with Junk Repair.

  • Strong Against: Infantry, Garrisoned Infantry
  • Weak Against: Tanks, Helicopters, Aircraft

Salvage Upgrades

  • Level 1: Stronger toxin-sprayer with increased range.
  • Level 2: Even more range.

Contaminate

Orders the Toxin Tractor to contaminate the area by spraying toxins all around itself.

Combat Cycle

The Combat Cycle provides GLA infantry a quick way of getting around the battlefield. Depending on the unit mounting it, the combat cycle receives different kinds of weapons:

  • Rebel: Machine gun
  • RPG Trooper: Rocket launcher
  • Terrorist: Demolition pack with impact detonator
  • Jarmen Kell: Sniper rifle plus stealth; can only use "Kill Vehicle Crew" ability
  • Worker, Saboteur, Hijacker: Weaponless

Prince Kassad receives Combat Cycles with a Rebel by default and they are always stealthed, even when not mounted, except when a Worker is driving it.

If the driver gets off the Combat Cycle, it will remain empty until destroyed or manned again by GLA infantry.

  • Strong Against: Infantry, Light Vehicles, Tanks
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Tanks, Aircraft, Helicopters

Radar Truck

The Radar Truck provides radar capabilities, and can detect stealthed enemy units around itself. The Radar Scan upgrade allows each Radar Truck to periodically reveal a small area anywhere on the map for a short while. Additionally to being faster than the standard Radar Van, the Radar Truck can receive an advanced Radar Jammer to shroud itself and everything around it from the enemy.

  • Strong Against: -Unarmed-
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Tanks, Aircraft, Helicopters

Radar Scan

Orders the Radar Truck to use its scanning ability to reveal a target area (also revealing hidden enemies).

Bomb Truck

Filled with TNT and other explosives, the Bomb Truck's purpose is to drive into an enemy structure or group of units and detonate itself, taking enemies along with it. Though able to deal substantial amounts of damage, it is still a vulnerable unit because it isn't particularly well armored. It is able to disguise itself however, posing as an enemy vehicle so it can get closer to its enemy before being detected. More goodies can be added to the vehicle: a biobomb that leaves a good amount of anthrax when the vehicle detonates, a high explosive bomb which further increases the power of the vehicle, or both.

  • Strong Against: Light Vehicles, Tanks, Buildings
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Tanks, Aircraft, Helicopters

Biobombs

  • Cost: 500

Upgrades the truck with an anthrax payload.

High-Explosive Bomb

  • Cost: 500

Upgrades the truck with more explosives.

Detonate

Immediately detonates the Bomb Truck.

Disguise

Makes the Bomb Truck look like the targeted vehicle. This includes faction color.

Battle Bus

A big tour bus fitted with extra armor plating and a nasty-looking bumper. The Battle Bus can transport up to eight infantry at once, who can fire out of the vehicle's windows. When destroyed, the bus simply loses its wheels and acts like a stationary bunker for the infantry, providing a second opportunity for even more damage. It can be fitted with extra armor plating salvaged from destroyed enemy vehicles.

  • Strong Against: -Unarmed-
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Tanks, Aircraft, Helicopters

Salvage Upgrades

  • Level 1: More armor.
  • Level 2: Additional armor and a nasty bumper.

Rocket Buggy

One of the most iconic vehicles the GLA possesses, the Rocket Buggy is the ideal vehicle for hit-and-run attacks. It outranges defenses and though extremely fragile it is equally fast and can easily flee if enemy forces are approaching. Rocket Buggies come with three small rocket batteries which fire a barrage of six homing rockets, but can be upgraded with newer batteries that can fire up to eight rockets (with the Buggy Ammo upgrade). The AP Rockets upgrade increases its damage and the Junk Repair upgrade gives the vehicle auto-healing. It can salvage even more rocket batteries from enemy vehicle wrecks.

Kassad's Rocket Buggies start as veterans.

  • Strong Against: Light Vehicles, Tanks, Defenses
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Aircraft, Helicopters

Salvage Upgrades

  • Level 1: Two additional rocket batteries.
  • Level 2: Another additional rocket battery.

Taunt

The Rocket Buggy uses its horn to taunt the enemy. This has no in-game effect and is for humorous purposes only.

Ground Attack

Orders the unit to fire its payload on the targeted area. Every artillery piece in ShockWave has this ability.

Frog-7 Launcher

Prince Kassad obtained a number of Frog-7 Launchers which he can equip with either anthrax or HE warheads. They are slow and cannot defend themselves, but their Frog-7 missile is powerful and difficult to intercept because it has a low trajectory. Their anthrax warheads can be made more powerful with the Anthrax Beta upgrade and the Junk Repair upgrade slowly repairs this unit over time. Multiple salvage upgrades double its firepower by adding a second Frog-7 missile to this vehicle.

  • Strong Against: Infantry, Light Vehicles, Tanks, Defenses, Buildings
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Tanks, Aircraft, Helicopters

Salvage Upgrades

  • Level 1: Stronger missile.
  • Level 2: Second missile.

High Explosive Warheads

Switches to high-explosive missiles, which do lots of damage and create a big explosion.

Anthrax Warheads

Switches to anthrax-tipped missiles, which do less damage than HE missiles but leave anthrax fields.

Ground Attack

Orders the unit to fire its payload on the targeted area. Every artillery piece in ShockWave has this ability.

Mobile Supply Stash

The Mobile Supply Stash is Kassad's sneaky way to empty far away supply depots without the enemy noticing. This truck comes with four Workers out of the factory and instantly cloaks itself with camo netting while it's not moving. The Workers who drop off supplies at the Mobile Supply Stash are stealthed as well. However, the truck cannot produce more workers or transport more than four units.
