Nuclear Red Guard
Trained in pairs, the Red Guard forms the backbone of China's infantry legions. Armed with a bolt-action rifle, Red Guards don't fire very rapidly but do good damage against ground units. In groups, they gain a Horde Bonus which increases their rate of fire. Big groups of Red Guards can be a serious threat even to armored vehicles. Tao's Red Guard uses miniaturized depleted uranium ammunition, dealing more damage from the start. In addition, the Radiation Warheads upgrade fits all of Tao's Red Guard with radiation grenades.
Capture Building
Orders the Red Guard to capture a building, to be used for China's forces. Radiation Grenade
The Red Guard launches a radiation grenade at the targeted area. The radiation grenade, upon impact, will spread radiation over an area for some time. Any infantry crossing this field without NBC suits or vehicular transport is most likely to die of radiation poisoning. |
Nuclear Tank Hunter
General Tao's Tank Hunters are issued a non-standard missile launcher that does more damage than the standard issue launchers in the Red Army. Additionaly the Radiation Warheads upgrade will create pockets of radiation wherever the missile hits. In groups, they gain a Horde Bonus which increases their rate of fire. Nuclear Tank Hunters are also armed with a Nuclear charges which they can place on enemy buildings and vehicles. These charges can not be removed by any means, and detonate after ten seconds.

Nuclear Siege Soldier
Siege Soldiers are infantry equipped with mortars that allows Chinese generals to attack a base from afar without resorting to artillery vehicles. Although inaccurate, their area of effect may compensate. They deal a reasonable amount of damage to anything they might hit, and generally outranges base defences. The Flare Mortars upgrade allows the Siege Soldier to fire flares, which distract enemy missiles from their targets and protect your vehicles. The Radiation Warheads upgrade upgrades mortar shells with warheads that leave radiation wherever they hit.
Ground AttackThe unit fires its mortar at a specific location. All artillery units in ShockWave have this ability. Fire Flare Mortar
The Siege Soldier fires a flare at a specific location. The flare will deviate incoming enemy missiles for a while, providing some additional cover for friendly ground forces moving through places with multiple missile-based weaponry. |
Nuclear Hacker
Hacks into non-Swiss banks to steal money and uses computer viruses to disable buildings. The Nuclear Hacker is also armed with a suitcase nuke which he can plant to create a small nuclear explosion.
Suitcase NukePlants a nuclear suitcase at the target, which explodes after some time. Hack InternetThe Hacker sits down and deploys his laptop in order to hack money from the Internet. Generates a constant stream of money and experience for the Hacker, but the Hacker is undefended and cannot move. |
Nuclear Black Lotus
Chinese hero unit; highly experienced hacker, able to shut down buildings and vehicles, remotely capture buildings and hack enemy communications to call in an airstrike. In addition, she is able to plant a suitcase nuke to demolish buildings and vehicles.
Capture BuildingBlack Lotus hacks into an enemy building and assumes control of it. Disable VehicleBlack Lotus uses a computer virus to disable a vehicle's electronics. Cash HackBlack Lotus hacks into an enemy Supply Center and steals up to $1000 from the enemy. Disable BuildingBlack Lotus disables a building using a powerful computer virus. System Hack
Targets a nearby area and calls in a random air strike: either a Level 2 Iron Dragon strike, a level 3 Demo Trap Carpet Bombing or a Level 1 A-10 Strike. Lotus remains stealthed while using this ability. Suitcase NukePlants a suitcase nuke that explodes after some time. |
