All manned combat vehicles

All manned USA combat vehicles can be upgraded with a single unmanned drone to boost that vehicle's capabilities. These drones are all affected by the Drone Armor upgrade.

Scout Drone

  • Cost: 100

Scout Drones increase the effective sight range of the vehicle, and reveal any stealthed units nearby.

  • Strong Against: -Unarmed-
  • Weak Against: Anti-Aircraft

Battle Drone

  • Cost: 300

Battle Drones protect the vehicle by repairing it when necessary. In addition, they have a light machine gun that can help defend the vehicle against infantry.

  • Strong Against: Infantry
  • Weak Against: Anti-Aircraft

Hellfire Drone

  • Cost: 500

Hellfire Drones provide additional battle capabilities for their parent vehicle. They are equipped with missiles, which can do moderate damage to both infantry and vehicles.

  • Strong Against: Tanks, Light Vehicles
  • Weak Against: Anti-Aircraft

Dozer

The Dozer is responsible for constructing all of Granger's structures and defenses, as well as keeping them properly repaired.

  • Strong Against: -Unarmed-
  • Weak Against: Infantry, Tanks, Helicopters, Aircraft

Clear Mines

Orders the unit to clear mines and booby traps within the assigned area.

Sheridan

The Sheridan is General Granger's main battle tank. It is light weight and can be transported in Chinooks easily, yet still provides good ground support on the battlefield. It can be further upgraded to fire Anti-Tank rockets. These rockets can be fired over longer distances than the main gun can, also dealing heavy damage against vehicles. Infantry are too small to utilize the Anti-Tank rocket against, while enemy structures and defenses are too heavily armored to waste the rocket on.

  • Strong Against: Light Vehicles
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Helicopters, Aircraft

Launch Anti-Tank Rocket

The Sheridan launches its Anti-Tank rocket against the designated vehicle.

Humvee

The Humvee is a fast transport vehicle. It can transport up to five soldiers which can fire through the vehicle's fireports. However, the Humvee itself is armed with a light machine gun only, but it can be upgraded with a TOW Missile launcher. It also has rather weak armor, but makes up for that with speed.

  • Strong Against: Infantry, Light Vehicles
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Tanks, Helicopters, Aircraft

Sentry Drone

A drone fitted with highly modern sensor and camera equipment. It is able to detect stealthed units around it, and in addition it has the ability to scan for stealthed units in a small area a small distance away. It is stealthed when not moving. By default, it is not capable of engaging enemy units, but can be fitted with a machine gun which makes it effective against infantry. The Drone Armor upgrade gives the Sentry Drone additional armor to increase its durability against enemy infantry.

  • Strong Against: Infantry
  • Weak Against: Missile-Armed Infantry, Tanks, Helicopters, Aircraft

Scan area for enemies

Orders the unit to scan the target area for stealthed enemies.

Avenger

Because the Humvee was not sufficient against fast air targets the USA's enemies started to deploy in battle, the USA modified the Humvee to create this vehicle. It has a laser designator which can "paint" enemy units and increase the rate of fire of friendly units firing on the "painted" target, and a Point Defense Laser which protects it against missiles. An anti-air missile system is mounted on its back, which fires batteries of four missiles each at airborne targets. This system slows down the Avenger a lot though.

  • Strong Against: Aircraft, Missiles
  • Weak Against: Infantry, Tanks

Microwave Tank

As its name suggests, this tank is armed with a powerful microwave emitter. It creates a large microwave field around itself which fries infantry in seconds. Additionally the Microwave Tank is able to use it's dish-emitter into projecting a microwave beam which shuts down targeted buildings and clears garrisoned buildings almost instantly. The downside is that the building only remains without power as long as the Microwave Tank keeps firing at it. While firing the beam, the tank loses its microwave field, so this unit should never be sent out alone and only used as a support vehicle.

  • Strong Against: Defenses, Infantry, Garrisoned Infantry
  • Weak Against: Tanks, Helicopters, Aircraft

Hurricane

The Hurricane is Granger's mobile ground artillery vehicle. The Hurricane launches a missile with cluster submunitions which disperse on impact against anything, damaging ground units, base defenses and structures within the area of effect, therefore named the "Hurricane". Their armor is very thin though, combined with Grangers' weakened ground forces it is advised to keep them air covered at all time, as well as behind Sheridan tanks.

  • Strong Against: Stationary Targets, Defenses, Structures, groups of units
  • Weak Against: Infantry, Tanks, Helicopters, Aircraft

Ground Attack

Orders the unit to fire its payload on the targeted area. Every artillery piece in ShockWave has this ability.
