Ranger

  • Cost: 225
  • Trained at: Barracks
  • Requires: -

These well-trained, well-armed soldiers form the core of the USA's infantry forces. The Capture Buildings Upgrade makes them able to capture buildings, and the Flash Bangs Upgrade makes them able to fire flash bangs, which can clear soldiers from garrisoned buildings and do damage to groups of infantry units in the open. Additionally, Rangers can rappel down from Chinooks.

  • Weak Against: Anti-Infantry Vehicles, Helicopters, Aircraft

Capture Building

Orders the Ranger to capture a building, to be used for the USA's forces.

Machine Gun mode

Makes the Ranger use his machine gun to engage enemy units.

Flash Bang mode

Makes the Ranger use flash bangs to engage enemy forces; these can clear a single enemy unit from garrisons each.

EMP Missile Defender

The EMP Missile Defender is a soldier armed with a missile launcher, which is effective against enemy tanks, light vehicles and aircraft. He can fire special missiles with a customized EMP warhead. These missiles produce an EMP blast upon impact which temporarily shuts down enemy vehicles and buildings and drops helicopters from the skies in an instant.

  • Weak Against: Anti-Infantry Vehicles, Infantry

EMP Missile Attack

The EMP Missile Defender uses a missile with an EMP warhead on the designated target. Vehicles and buildings hit by the EMP are temporarily disabled. Most airborne threats caught by the blast crash to the ground immediatly.

Marine

Marines are highly-trained, well-equipped soldiers armed with a powerful machine gun which is highly effective against infantry, as well as light vehicles. They can also make use of explosive C4 charges and plant them on enemy vehicles or structures, dealing tremendous damage to those targets.

C4 Attack

The Marine plants a powerful C4 charge onto the designated target. It will detonate after 5 seconds.

Pathfinder

A sniper wearing a ghillie suit, who can't be seen when not moving. Not even revealing himself when firing, the Pathfinder is just about the worst thing that can happen to an infantry column. Pathfinders are also perfect for putting inside Humvees and garrisonable structures.

Colonel Burton

Colonel Burton is a covert ops and demolitions specialist; one of the finest soldiers in the United States armed forces. Armed with a heavy machine gun and several demolitions charges, he can effectively level an enemy base or take an entire enemy force on his own. He is undetectable by normal means, and can silently and swiftly kill enemy infantry with his combat knife. He can also be equipped with a grenade launcher, which allows him to safely destroy enemy base defences and vehicles from afar. Burton is very difficult to kill, but can be overwhelmed by large enemy forces, and is vulnerable against snipers and aircraft.

Machine Gun

Selects Burton's machine gun. This weapon is most suited for attacking infantry, though it is pretty effective against light vehicles and structures as well.

Knife

Selects the knife, for stealthy infantry kills.

Grenade Launcher

Selects the Grenade Launcher. This long-ranged weapon is effective against all ground targets.

Timed Demo Charge

Places a timed demo charge on the selected target. The charge will detonate after twenty seconds.

Remote Demo Charge

Places a remote demo charge on the selected target. The charge will not detonate until the Detonate Charges ability is used. If Colonel Burton is killed before he detonates them, any placed remote demo charges will disappear.

Detonate Charges

Immediately detonates all Remote Demo Charges that have been placed.

Biohazard Tech

To keep her Medic Drones cost-effective, General Alexander has passed down biological, chemical and nuclear contamination clean up to specialized field technicians.

Clean Toxins

Orders the Biohazard Tech to clean up radiation and toxins in the selected area.
