Buzzers

  • Cost: 200
  • Trained at: Portal
  • Requires: -

Scrin's answer to GDI's Rifle Squad and Nod's Militant Squad, the Buzzer does extreme amounts of damage to enemy infantry, at the cost of range. The Buzzer can combine with Scrin vehicles to provide anti infantry support. Three unselectable Buzzers are produced at the Buzzer Hive.

Advantages: Instantly kills any given infantry unit. Can also clear garrisons.

Disadvantages: Melee nature of weapon means that it doesn't have any range at all. Does nearly no damage to targets other than infantry.

Combine With Vehicles

The selected Buzzer will combine with the targeted allied vehicle. Harvesters and non-Scrin vehicles can't be targeted with this ability.

Disintegrators

  • Cost: 300
  • Trained at: Portal
  • Requires: -

The Disintegrator is Scrin's basic anti-vehicle infantry unit. The amount of damage it deals is substantial, and it explodes when crushed by enemy vehicles. Like the Buzzer, it is limited by its short range. Their speed can be increased with the Advanced Articulators upgrade.

Advantages: Does decent damage to vehicles and structures. Explodes when crushed by vehicles, damaging the vehicle.

Disadvantages: Short range.

Assimilator

  • Cost: 500
  • Trained at: Portal

This strange creature seems to be the equivalent of the Engineer and Saboteur. Like its counterparts the Assimilator can capture destroyed walker husks It has the special ability to cloak when not moving. Their speed can be increased with the Advanced Articulators upgrade.

Advantages: Only unit that can capture structures, cloaked when not moving.

Disadvantages: Unarmed, slow.

Shock Trooper

Scrin's equivalent of the Grenadier and the Black Hand, it uses a Photon Launcher, before being upgraded to a Plasma Disc Launcher. It is decent before the Plasma Disc Launcher upgrade, but it is after the upgrade when Shock Troopers truly shine. It can then target air units, and the damage dealt is increased by a decent margin. Blink Packs enable quick teleportation across the battlefield.

Advantages: Good against vehicles and structures, health is good.

Disadvantages: Not very effective against infantry, needs upgrades to be worthwhile.

Ravager

Armed with shards of Tiberium the Ravager is deadly to infantry and can use a Tiberium Agitation beam on Harvesters and Refineries, if a unit is killed by the Agitation beam it explodes into a small patch of Tiberium. Their speed can be increased with the Advanced Articulators upgrade.

Advantages: Good against infantry and vehicles, special ability very deadly against Harvesters or Refineries, fast

Disadvantages: No anti-air defence, special ability has a large cool down time

Cultists

Cultists are humans that work for the Scrin, produced in a group of five they can mind control an enemy unit. The are otherwise unarmed and unarmored. Their speed can be increased with the Advanced Articulators upgrade.

Advantages: Can mind control enemy units

Disadvantages: Unarmed, unarmored, expensive

Prodigy

The Prodigy does not have the deadly one-man army capability of GDI Commando and Nod Commando, but it compensates with two very useful abilities. The Prodigy is an upgraded version of the Mastermind. It can mind control and area, allowing it to control several units at a given time. It can teleport other units, however it can also teleport itself allowing more efficient use of the ability. Its speed can be increased with the Advanced Articulators upgrade.

Advantages: Able to mind control any enemy units or structures, can teleport entire armies across the battlefield, relatively fast.

Disadvantages: Unarmed, expensive, only one can be built at any given time.
