Command & Conquer Generals - Zero Hour or Command & Conquer Deluxe

Installing Generals - Zero Hour on Windows XP

Following the instructions in the manual will install the game to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour however during the installation this can be altered to any other desired directory. Install the 1.04 Patch to update the game to the newest version 1.04 Patch.

Save data will be installed to C:\Documents and Settings\Account name\My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data.

Installing Generals on Windows Vista

The installation program has to be run as an administrator, right click on the install file and select Run as an administrator. This install the game to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour however during the installation this can be altered to any other desired directory. Install the 1.04 Patch, again as an administrator, to update the game to the newest version 1.04 Patch.

Save data will be installed to C:\Users\Account name\Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data.

The First Decade

Installing Generals on Windows XP

Following the instructions in the manual will install the game to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Command & Conquer(tm) Generals Zero Hour however during the installation this can be altered to any other desired directory. The is no patch required for The First Decade.

Save data will be installed to C:\Documents and Settings\Account name\My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data.
