Comr4de (previously C0|V|R4DE, AKA Comrade) is a member of Fallout Studios who lives in the United States. He was an administrator between January 2008 and May 2009. He retired from the Fallout Studios leadership when SWR Productions left Fallout Studios. He was very involved with several projects on Fallout Studios. He is a leader of Rise of the Reds, and was also part of the ShockWave team before the teams merged to form SWR Productions, of which he is now a lead member. Comr4de is skilled in the areas of Modelling, Skinning and Mapping.
Personal
Comr4de was born in the Federal District of Mexico, or Mexico City on September 21, 1987. Comr4de is bilingual and can speak and write both English and Spanish, even though it may be rusty at times. He enjoys all types of genres when it comes to gaming but preferably picks Real Time Strategy, RPG and First Person Shooters - any hybrid of any or all of these is an instant win. He is also an avid Movie goer, during a good movie season that is, and usually likes action, horror/slasher, comedy and thrillers. Comr4de has been recently re-introduced into anime (not being a big anime fan to begin with) but after watching Claymore, shown to him by Overdose, he has begun watching anime and has become an avid anime fan under the themes of action/horror. Currently Comr4de uses a Claymore character as his forum avatar.
Hat in the Hell: Forum Life
Originally, Comr4de did not visit the forums actively due to his commitment to Revora, where the old Rise of the Reds team were once hosted. It was not until the old Rise of the Reds team dissolved and his involvement in ShockWave increased until he finally became active after a year or so post-registration. When Rise of the Reds became a SWR Project, all ties with Revora were now unneeded. After some time afterwards, Comr4de was then nominated to become staff, and eventually an administrator to help the current admins with their work. Comr4de became an administrator in January 2008, before retiring when SWR moved from Fallout Studios.
During the period before his promotion, Comr4de stirred a meme or two, including the popular Hat in the Hell incident in which Comr4de's keyboard did not function correctly, ending up with amusing results to whoever messaged him at the time. The meme picked up on the forums and was said to have even spread outside the forums, though the extent of it is not known. However, we do know that there are many hats in hell.
The second "silent hit" was the MMMMWATCHASAY meme, in which members who responded in a certain way were replied with the same phrase usually implying the person was shot and/or simply referring to the videos. Several members took the meme as their own for some time but never fully exploded in the forum.
Comrade joined in The great name change where he became Hamburgerman a reference to a popular internet meme, he also photoshopped in a picture of Kid being eaten for his part in the Great Name Change. He also designed the avatars for the Jurassic Park meme used by a number of Rise of the Reds team members. Comr4de helped Stinger develop the Halloween name change fad. Comr4de helped the 8I and I8 meme grow by suggesting the smilies be added to the forum software. Comr4de was also instrumental in the creation of Team Fortress Tuesdays.
