Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is an RTS game produced by Electronic Arts (EA), acting as a standalone expansion for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. It was released early in 2009, and was offered via digital distribution only, with even the version available in stores only containing a link and a download key for the purchaser to use. The game also offers no multiplayer experience, relying on single player only.

Gameplay
The gameplay in Uprising is exceptionally similar to Red Alert 3, considering its position as an expansion pack. There are several new units for each side, including notable 'epic unit'-style additions such as the enormous floating Imperial Giga-Fortress. These expand the strategies for each team slightly, but for the most part, the game plays out in the same fashion as Red Alert 3. The Yuriko campaign plays out in a slightly different fashion from the usual game, using different controls and camera angle, making it so that the camera follows the Yuriko character at all times, and rids the players of the minimap and all other command bar options.
The game also features the Commander's Challenge, a series of games against AI characters of varying skill levels. As you complete each game, more of your tech tree is unlocked for further battles, of which there are 50 in total. All Challenges have a 'par time'; if the player completes the mission in under this amount, they gain access to new units (and a hidden feature if all fifty are completed under par). There are also certain modifiers in each scenario which forces certain characteristics into the game, such as shrinking all units throughout the game.
Storyline
There are four small storylines in the expansion pack. All start of from the end of the Allied campaign of Red Alert 3, and each follow totally different stories. The Soviets are attempting to destroy FutureTech before they complete their device to selectively stop time. The Allies focus on the Empire of the Rising Sun, attempting to finish off the remaining Imperial Warlords who still resist their control. The Empire, however, focus on the Soviets, who attempt to dominate the Empire while the Allies look on. Finally, Yuriko's campaign recounts her creation, her capture by the Allies, and her subsequent escape and attempt to free her sister.
